RAIMUND ZELL

Raimund Zell He was born in 1977 in South-Germany and grew up in a wind band. He studied with Michael Höltzel in Detmold and with Christian Dallmann in Berlin. He was a member of „German Youth Orchestra“ and „European Union Youth Orchestra“. After playing in „Radiosinfonieorchester Stuttgart“, „Komische Oper Berlin“ and „Staatskapelle Dresden“ he was a member for about ten years in „Gewandhausorchester Leipzig“. Beside that he is playing since about 17 years in „Mahler-ChamberOrchestra“ and is playing regularly with the big concert- and opera orchestras in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He is price winner of several international competitions as a soloist and chamber-musician and -beside his orchestra playing- is working international as a teacher, chamber musician and soloist. He was teaching for about six years at „Universität der Künste Berlin“ in the hornclass of Christian Dallmann, in 2011/2012 he had a professorship for horn and chambermusic at „Hochschule der Künste Bern“, he was professor for horn from 2012-2015 at „Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz“ and since 2012 he is professor for horn at „Anton-Bruckner-Universität“ in Linz/Austria. He is a professional mental-coach and is living in Vienna.
